This is a Aluminum Deluxe "Slotted" Paddle 3/4"Dia x 3"Long with a Deluxe Blue Reinforced Plastic Handle. Because of the slots that are machined into the paddle design, this roller is an excellent choice for low VOC resins but works well with all resin systems. The slotted paddle roller rolls the resin a bit faster and gives quicker chop glass saturation than the thin finned rollers that are quicker at removing trapped air bubbles.
So there is a trade off between the two but both get the Air Bubbles out.. Because of its slotted design it results in less resin displacement than standard paddle rollers and the resin stays on the material better for total saturation and less resin waste. Its made with Extruded, corrosion resistant aluminum and is a perfect resin roller.
