Orca Polyester pigments are dispersions of inorganic and organic compounds in a special liquid vehicle, which cross links during curing with Orca Gelcoats and Polyester and Vinylester resin systems.
Orca PHTHALO BLUE RS Pigment is used for both Epoxy and Polyester applications. Good mixing techniques are needed for proper incorporation of pigment dispersions. Simple low-shear mixing techniques are adequate, as long as reasonable mixing times are allowed. If a production batch of resin is pigmented, it should first be agitated before use. If the production batch is to be stored overnight, continuous agitation is suggested.
